My 1sT 3D MoviE

Watched Ice Age 3 @ tampines mall this afternoon. Was quite surprised that tampines mall does show 3D version as its a neighbourhood shopping mall and not any town cinema. The tickets were damn exp; 13 bucks per head. Yet i still dragged ray with me as i was tempted by my colleagues who kept talking abt how great the 3D graphics were.

The movie was humorous and great. The 3D part was very 3D, though ray kept complainting that there's no difference. However, i dun feel comfortable wearing the 3D specs. Its either the handles were too loose or my nose was too small; I have to use my hand to hold the handle to prevent it from sliding down. Glad ray brought along his sweater for me thus i didnt freeze in the threater. Thx deaR~ MuacKs.

Went swimming @ tampines sarfa after the movie. Its been a long time since i last swam @ woodlands swimming complex before exam ends. Wow, 3+ months. But the swimming pool was damn packed with people. There were swimming classes been conducted thus 3 lanes were cut off for that. There wasnt much sun so i didnt get to tan much. Dipped into the water and managed to swim ard 10 laps before leaving.

Reached home ard 730+ tonight, which was quite rare. Dad was watching tv and again, i have an urge to dance in front of him and let him know that i have reached home early again. Haa~ Bought ray's cousins soft toys and customized keychains with their names on it. Hope they will like it. Hey hey. nxt time i want to go San Fransico gai gai~

Henderson Meeting

I was alone in the office for the entire morning as the rest of the colleagues were either on mc, went for meetings or stationed @ Vivo. Today was 12% day for all Citibank and tangs members thus some of the staff were stationed there, including Adeline. Supposedly, i was to be with her there. But due to some on-going projects, my sup requested me to stay in the office. So i cant go there gai gai. T_T

Back to the topic, i was surrounded by phones that never stops ringing. I was basically freezing at my desk rubbing my hands to keep warm. So the coldest time was when there was nobody i realised. I was still worried i would be alone for lunch but thankfully when i was about to leave, sb and alan came back from their meeting. However, the lunch hour was cut short as the sup hurried us over the phone to get to Henderson.

My 1st time going to the office in Henderson. The office was nice and colorful but its quite inaccessible. We took cab from tangs to Henderson which was very fast. Sb told me that if we were to take public transport, its going to be very long. Meeting started @ 230 sharp and ended @ 3 where the next meeting carried on all the way till 7+.

During the meeting, I saw arrows shooting everywhere but ended up with me becoming one of the victim. Sad. Who ask me to be the lowest in rank over there? Officially, the meeting should end @ 6. But due to some argument that took place, the meeting was stretched to almost an hour. And still there was no solution or end to the problem.

By right im to be stationed @ Vivo tml morning too. But thx to some horrible projects, my sup asked mi to stay in the office again. Haiz. I wan gai gai!!!!

Donation Failure 2009

Isit the 3rd or 4th time i was rejected from the donation drive? I cant remember. Only know that it was always due to the same reason - Iron insufficiency.

Still remembered i was happily seated on the chair, offering my finger to the nurse for the blood test. I watched the nurse punctured a tiny hole and used cotton to wipe away the 1st drip of blood that formed on wound. Then she squeezed my finger and dripped a drop into the transparent blue solution.

I watched the droplet splashes against the surface of the solution and falls down. I exhaled a breathe of relieve. But, it paused in the middle and remained there for quite a while before it decided to make up its mind and sank to the bottom. I smiled and looked at the nurse. But my smile was gone immediately when she told me she needed to get another drop to test against some device.

I waited, preparing for the worse. And the truth came out as what i had expected. There was not enough iron in the blood. Great. I cant donate again. Lao ban stood there laughing while i returned back to the previous station to wait for the doc. Only when i glanced down my hand then i realised blood was still dripping down my hand from the wound, although the plaster was still in place. One of the staff upon seeing my blood-coated fingers became very anxious and rushed to get some cottons for me to wipe off. Even i was surprised by her reaction. I guess not many people will get their finger to bled so much after the blood test.

By then it was lao ban's turn for the blood test. There he was, laughing out loud like nobody's business when he knew what happened. How i wished i could strangle him alive that instance. In the end i waited for him to finish his blood donation. Then we went to west coast for some jap food before going home.

I had also stained my white handbag. But was glad i managed to wipe them away, although its not completely stainless. Well, i was rejected as a donor, yet i still bled. Doc told me i was damn suay as i was just lack of 0.1mg of iron in my blood. What luck i have. He also adviced mi to get some iron rich food to replenish my iron level and i should be able to come back for another donation 2 weeks later.

So ppl, who wants to join me 2 weeks lateR?
